Hello. My name is Mike Tesh. I am a professional videographer, editor and media specialist. I’ve been working in corporate/commercial video since 2006 and I’ve been making indie films long before that, having directed my first feature film in 2003 and several short films in the years before that.
I spent nearly twelve years working full time for a local web media company as their senior video person, photographer and overall media specialist. I also worked as a full time staff media specialist for a local mortgage company doing video production, photography and website work.
As a freelancer, I’ve worked with two local construction unions, producing video content for marketing use and political campaigns. I’ve also worked with agencies producing video content for their corporate clients.
In all my time doing production and post-production work I’ve had mayors, CEO’s, renowned composers and even a governor in front of my lens. Not to mention many great local actors and regular everyday hard working people. I’ve shot and edited everything from basic corporate promotional videos to local television commercials to e-learning video embeds for major fortune 500 companies.
As a professional photographer my focus has been on portraits, products and scenery. Photography is not my specialty, but when needed I have filled that role. I’ve also done photo manipulation and restoration work and fractal scaling of low resolution images for trade seminar banners.
When it comes to the internet, I’ve done website creation and editing. With skills in HTML, CSS and basic content management system implementation and editing, such as WordPress and some minor use of Drupal and Joomla. I have experience with MySQL database installation and editing as well. I used to build and edit websites for clients and I still can.
My web experience also includes social media. Youtube, Vimeo, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, various forum platforms, etc. I’ve been on the internet since the middle of the 1990s, so I’ve been through all the internet trends.
I continue to hone my craft and increase my experience. I keep up on what is going on in the industry on a daily basis. Things tend to evolve quickly. I love what I do. I have a passion for it and I hope to help you.
